Our first update post after our initial announcement!
Since we began earlier this year, the traction and demand for Sunrise has been immense, and we are truly excited to share these latest updates with you as we wrap up Q2. Let’s go Sunrisers!
Development Status
Internal Testnet: Sunrise internal testnet has already begun. This internal testnet is invitation only for core-contributors, launch partners, and validators. We are busy verifying Sunrise core functionality and hope to proceed to public testnet without delay.
Public Testnet: Shortly, we will announce a public incentivized testnet. Users will be able to test some core functionalities, share feedback, report bugs, and be rewarded for their participation in Sunrise testnet. Activities conducted on Sunrise testnet will be documented and eventually rewarded via a built-in points system. A leaderboard will also help us to track our most active testnet users. 🚀

Mainnet: Sunrise development proceeds well, with a goal of launching our mainnet in Q3, 2024. As Sunrise continues to onboard essential launch partners, we are very proud to continue expanding the Sunrise ecosystem and work with some of the best builders in the space (we have yet to publicly disclose our many partnerships as of this article’s publication date). As we approach mainnet, we will publish a more specific roadmap with key milestones for Sunrise.
Airdrop Status
For airdrop details shared to date, please read our original launch article. Sunrise will eventually publish a Sunrise Airdrop Guide which will summarize all the important details required to participate in the airdrop including instructions on how to claim eligible allocations.
Token Allocation Updates:
Originally, a total of 7% of the token supply was scheduled to be distributed during our initial airdrop at TGE, with an additional 5% of token supply scheduled for future initiatives. Sunrise has considered combining these two token allocations (up to 12%) to be distributed simultaneously during our genesis airdrop. The final distribution schedule of this 12% has not been concluded, but additional information will be released as we progress.

Wave 1: Gluon/ex-UnUniFi ($GUU/$GLU) Stakers
